Answer is : (d) Cornea The cornea acts as the eye’s outer most lens. It functions like as window that controls and focusses the entry of light into the eye (visual perception). The cornea contributes between 65-75 per cent of the eye’s total focussing power. When light strikes the cornea, it bends or refracts the incoming light on to the lens. The cornea covers the pupil (the opening at the centre of the eye), iris (the coloured part of the eye), and anterior chamber (the fluid filled inside of the eye).
